SEO + AEO + GEO, AI and Automation

We're hiring a few people in GEO/SEO and on business development.

I feel like the right person for our GEO roles will be excited about the fact that no one knows how AI "ranks" things and they see this as an opportunity to surround themselves with people learning fast.

They are the kind of people who might be restless in some company where they don't feel like they are learning, or where access to the best tools is never in reach.

They are competitive, I'll never forget the alumni who once after losing a deal she worked extremely hard on getting, was like, I'm pitching two of their competitors. She wasn't even in sales. She was just motivated and competitive.

They likely feel like they are hitting a ceiling at work, too many people are looking to them as the expert in GEO when they really are striving to be around a bunch of learners, since they know how much there is to learn. I was here before I started Seer, I remember being in rooms where I was 23 and everyone was hanging on my every word about how ask jeeves worked and I felt like ... I barely know. Then I was like I gotta get out of here before my career atrophies.

On business development

I want someone who:

Is a learner... sales at this company is patient and believes in the long haul, they are a student of asking questions to understand the root causes of problems.

Builds on trust. I don't need a brute force style sales team, I want someone who is good at taking existing relationships and turning those into new people we can help and they have systems to do it.

Builds on value. Some people can just pound phones and blast emails, others take each relationship and ask...how can I make sure that the time they spend with me helps them be smarter or better?

Sees AI and learning how it works as a contact sport, if you aren't constantly learning how it works, running your own little tests, etc you won't be able to sell the service because you'll always be behind.

I prefer to learn with people around me, so I'd love a bunch of Philly applicants, but we're hiring across the country.
