Freelance copywriters / ghost writers / marketers - we’re looking for you!

We’re (reluctantly!) waving goodbye to Emily Attwood as she heads off into a new career. She’s been brilliant at growing our LinkedIn presence and turning marketing into business wins since our brand relaunch in Jan 2024.

Now we’re on the lookout for someone who’s excited to join a small, supportive (and we like to think - fun!) team and help us keep the momentum going.

Manor Resources is owned and run by Zoe Jones who is supported by a small team of freelancers. We are the HR Department to around 11 small businesses in varying industries with all of their proactive and reactive HR requirements.

We're starting to reap the benefits of the great work our current marketing support has given us after having steadily built our marketing presence from ground up over the last 14 months. However, she is finishing at the end of July and we'd like to fill the gap that's being left.

Manor Resources is a second-generation business which has benefitted from organic growth until we started to undertake more strategic marketing following our rebrand in 2023.

We're a micro business with a high level of support so the right person will be looking to include themselves as a part of a team that has an established marketing process, but will be ready to bring their own ideas on how we can build on what we've already achieved. And they'll also be happy to hold and drive the strategy.

Brand voice and copywriting in our owners tone is incredibly important so interest and experience in and a grounding in copywriting / ghost writing, over strategic marketing is preferred.

We're predominantly marketing on LinkedIn via organic marketing efforts and we're sending a regular newsletter, but we also have an offline marketing strategy in the pipeline.

We're expecting a few exciting changes over the next year and we'd love to hear from anyone who is excited to be a part of it!

Self-employed conditions

We're recruiting on a self-employed basis.
 
The hours are around 20-30 per month.

The hourly rate is £30 per hour.

Although we're flexible and happy with remote applications, applicants will ideally based in the UK with experience supporting micro businesses and the unique challenges that brings.
