Freelance Writer
MoneywiseMoneywise is growing — and hiring!
Due to popular demand, we're expanding our editorial team into new markets and bringing on fresh talent to help us tell better stories about money, markets, and the people shaping both.
Here's what's open right now:
- Contributing Editor (Full-Time). Now accepting applicants in New York and New Jersey! This is a hybrid writer/editor role for anyone with a passion for both reporting and polishing others' work. You'll shape stories about the world of money: personal finance, the economy, markets, and the voices driving the conversation — and play a crucial role in our growing newsroom.
- Freelance Writer (Remote). We're looking for someone who loves writing about personal finance, investing, retirement, financial experts, CEOs and billionaires, megacap companies, the economy, and so much more.
- Freelance Weekend Writer (Remote). All of the above, but on a Friday-to-Monday schedule. You'll work with a small team of intrepid weekend editors to produce content for the end of the week, and the start of each new week.
Millions of people read Moneywise every single day, and we're just getting started. If any of these roles sound like a great fit for you, please reach out. DM me directly: Name the role you want right in the subject line, shoot me a brief message about why you're right for the job, and send over your résumé and 3 of your favorite clips while you're there. You can also use the comment section below to tag someone who you think would be a great fit.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
