Freelance Travel and Tourism Writer

Calling all Georgia-Based Travel & Tourism Writers 📣

Accent Creative Group is growing and we're looking to add a few talented freelance writers to our extended team.

For more than 22 years, we've helped destinations across the Southeast tell their stories through visitor guides, magazines, websites, marketing campaigns and more. Now, we're looking for writers who know how to bring a place to life on the page. We're not looking for generic content writers.

We're looking for storytellers who understand destination marketing. Writers who can capture the personality of a community, uncover hidden gems, interview local voices, and create content that inspires people to visit, stay, explore and return. 🗺

Requirements:

✔️Must live in Georgia
✔️Experience writing for tourism organization, destinations or lifestyle/ travel publications
✔️Strong storytelling skills
✔️Ability to meet deadlines
✔️ Portfolio of relevant work samples

Bonus points if you've ever found yourself taking notes while traveling because a great story was unfolding right in front of you. ✍🏼
