I am looking for an experienced freelance SEO Expert to collaborate with us at Alternativa Film globally!

At Alternativa (supported by inDrive), we are dedicated to bringing impactful, socially meaningful cinema from the Global South to audiences worldwide. Our films spark conversations and inspire positive change—but to make that happen, we need to make sure these incredible stories are easily found online.

What we need help with:

We are looking for an independent SEO specialist who is data-driven, proactive, and passionate about the film industry and social impact, and can work on our website in English, Spanish, Russian, Kazakh, and many more languages. You will help us optimize our digital presence, build our search strategy, and ensure that our festival updates, labs, and distribution catalogue reach filmmakers, buyers, and audiences globally.

Ideally, you have:

• Proven experience in SEO strategy, keyword research, and performance analytics.
• A strong understanding of how to drive organic growth for international projects.
• The ability to work independently as a freelancer while still being a great collaborative partner to our creative team.
• A passion for global culture, independent cinema, and impact-driven initiatives.
