Freelance Scientific Director

HIRING - Freelance Scientific Director (Medical Communications) - US-based only, 100% remote

I'm partnering with a medical communications agency who looking to bring on an experienced Scientific Director for a 12-14 month contract from mid-June. This is a hands-on, client-facing role suited to someone who can lead scientific strategy while staying close to the work.

What they’re looking for:
• PhD in medical sciences preferred (Master’s with strong, relevant experience also considered)
• 2+ years’ experience as a Scientific Director in a medical communications agency is essential
• Broad therapeutic area exposure; rheumatology and/or dermatology experience is a strong plus
• Proven track record across deliverables: slide decks, scientific communication platforms, advisory boards, congress support (including on-site), and booth development
• Experience mentoring teams and guiding junior writers
