The role at a glance

  • Type: freelance contract, self-employed or via your limited company
  • Commitment: 10 hours per week, 40 hours per month, flexibly scheduled
  • Rate: $3,000 per month, retainer, invoiced monthly
  • Location: remote, UK, Channel Islands or United States
  • Starting mid October 2026. Applications close 1 September 2026.

Who we are

The Money Panel® trains coaches and financial professionals in the psychology of money. Catherine Morgan Ltd carries the podcast, the speaking, the writing and the corporate work.

Catherine is a former financial adviser and the host of It's Not About the Money, a podcast in the global top 0.5%. She delivers financial wellbeing sessions for organisations including Adobe, Meta and Amazon, and runs what we believe is the UK's only financial coaching certification that combines practical money expertise with psychological and somatic modalities.

Our mission is to help one million people redefine their relationship with money for wealth, freedom and impact.

We hold one belief above all others: money behaviours are shaped by lived experience, inherited beliefs and systems of exclusion. Never by individual failing. That belief shows up in how we write, how we sell, and how we treat each other.

What this role is

This is the person who owns the marketing engine. Not content. Not social media. The systems, the launches, the project boards, and the numbers underneath all of it.

You would work directly with Catherine, with genuine ownership from day one and no layers in between.

What you would own

1. ActiveCampaign and marketing automation — the most critical area of this role

You would own the full account: automations, tags, segments, lists, custom fields, campaigns and contact data.

Building an automation here means thinking strategically about:

  • who the segment actually is, and who must be excluded
  • if/else conditions and branch logic
  • send times, wait conditions and jump-to conditions
  • exclusion tags, so nobody receives conflicting campaigns mid-launch
  • how the automation behaves for someone already sitting in another sequence

You would also own list hygiene, tag architecture and contact data quality.

2. Launch strategy and management — the second most critical area

  • Contribute genuine launch strategy, not implementation alone
  • Build the campaign plan and timeline
  • Review data from previous launches and make informed recommendations
  • Take detailed notes in planning sessions and convert them into an actionable plan
  • Task out the entire launch in Asana and drive it to completion

3. Project management

  • Set up, organise and maintain project boards in Asana
  • Assign tasks and organise the boards and tasks Catherine creates
  • Convert anything Catherine sends via Slack into an Asana task
  • Be the point person for briefing contractors such as our design team, following up, and closing tasks once final approval is given
  • Be CC’d on all tasks and hold accountability for their completion

4. Copywriting and email marketing

  • Strategise new email sequences and identify optimisations to existing ones
  • Write first drafts of emails for Catherine to edit
  • Write first drafts of landing page copy
  • Review and make final edits to Catherine’s copy, optimising CTAs, checking links, proofreading
  • Track which sequences and landing pages need updating and when: new launch dates, changed offers, dead links
  • Schedule emails in ActiveCampaign to the correct audience segments
  • Update copy on landing and sales pages in WordPress

5. Website management

  • Maintain the WordPress website
  • Project-manage the web designer on new designs
  • Update existing pages directly
  • Duplicate and configure thank-you, confirmation and opt-out pages
  • Set up forms, redirects, media file links and pretty links

6. Integrations and tech setup

  • Build and maintain Zaps connecting ThriveCart, ActiveCampaign and Circle for student access
  • Set up new products, checkout pages, purchase-tracking tags and coupon codes in ThriveCart
  • Manage affiliate links and affiliate sign-ups in ThriveCart
  • Create and manage access groups in Circle, and the overall setup and access of The Money Panel® Circle spaces
  • Create and manage the Google Drive folder structure for new projects

7. Paid advertising

  • Set up and manage paid ad campaigns supporting launches and lead generation
  • Strategise, write copy, and project-manage the creation of creative
  • Coordinate ad tracking with landing pages and ThriveCart purchase data
  • Monthly reporting while ads are running

8. Reporting — own the numbers and what they mean

  • ActiveCampaign email performance: opens, clicks, sequence-level performance, segmentation tags, with recommendations
  • Launch and revenue reporting: ThriveCart sales, conversion by sequence and segment, event performance and conversion, post-launch debrief
  • Set up source code tracking

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Hands-on expertise in ActiveCampaign, specifically automation building with conditional logic, segmentation and tag architecture
  • Real launch experience in an online course, coaching or membership business
  • Strong copywriting, particularly email and landing pages, with the ability to write in someone else's voice
  • Comfortable in WordPress, ThriveCart or a comparable cart, Zapier, and Circle or a comparable community platform
  • Confident with Asana as a project management system
  • You use AI as part of how you work, and you know where it helps and where it flattens a brand voice. We use it for first drafts, research and repurposing. Nothing goes out here that has not been through a human.

Useful, not essential

  • Paid advertising experience across Meta and Google
  • Experience in financial services, wellbeing or professional training
  • Familiarity with CPD-accredited or certification-based programmes

And as a person

You are organised in a way that other people can see. You follow up without being asked. You are comfortable saying "the data does not support that" to the founder. You care about doing careful work, and you would rather ask a question than guess.

How we work

Remote and largely asynchronous, with live planning sessions around launches. Catherine works from Jersey, Channel Islands, on UK time.

We are open to candidates in the UK, the Channel Islands or the United States, as long as there is reliable overlap with UK hours during launch weeks.

We work in Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, ActiveCampaign, ThriveCart, WordPress, Circle, Zapier and Canva.

How to apply

Three steps.

  1. Complete the application form. Set aside about thirty minutes. It includes several questions about how you actually build things.
  2. Show us your work. Record a short screen-share, around five minutes, walking us through an automation you have built. Talk us through why you structured it the way you did, what you were protecting against, and what the data said afterwards. Loom is easiest and free. Blur or redact anything client-confidential. If you would rather write it, a document with screenshots and the same commentary is equally welcome.
  3. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a short practical task, followed by a conversation with Catherine.

Applications will not be considered if steps one and two are incomplete.

Applications close 1 September 2026.
