Freelance Marketing and Social Media Lead

We've got some exciting news here at Noma Collective!

We're hiring a Marketing and Social Media Lead to join our team.

We're looking for a talented, creative, and confident person who loves traveling, meeting new people, and lives and breathes all things social media.

You'll spend a year traveling with us, creating content across our social channels, managing email marketing, and helping grow the Noma Collective brand from some pretty incredible places around the world.

The role

If you love travelling, meeting new people and live and breathe all things social media, you could spend the next year exploring the world with our community of remote workers.

You'll create content across our social channels, manage email marketing and help grow the Noma Collective brand from some pretty incredible places around the world.

What you'll do

• Film and edit short-form content during our trips
• Plan, create and publish engaging content across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
• Write engaging copy for social posts, emails and campaigns
• Analyse performance and use insights to continually improve results
• Travel with our community across multiple destinations
• Capture photography and long-form video
• Be an active part of our community, not just behind the camera
• Manage our CRM, including email marketing, customer journeys and marketing automations

Who you are

• Ready and able to travel
• Social media savvy, with experience creating content for Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
• Bonus if you have previous travel content experience
• Know your way around Canva or Photoshop
• Comfortable co-working with ChatGPT or Claude and confident with prompting
• At home with social analytics, and you know what to do with the numbers
• You love meeting new people
• As confident on camera as you are off it
• Naturally curious, with a positive attitude
• Excited to take ownership and make this role your own

The details

Starts October 1st. A 12-month freelance contractor position with the opportunity to make a huge impact as we grow.

• Work from anywhere: Our team is fully remote, so you can be based anywhere in the world. You'll just need to flex your hours occasionally for team meetings across time zones.
• Regular international travel: Travel with our community throughout the year. Most work-related travel and accommodation costs are covered by Noma Collective.
