We're hiring for 3 freelance roles at Impactic.
We're a social enterprise redefining corporate volunteering. Through our "Impactathons", professionals use their skills to solve real charity challenges, creating lasting impact in just one day.
We've got some huge stuff cooking behind the scenes and we need the right people to help pull it off.
Here's what we're hiring for:
-
Brand Marketing & Social — help tell the Impactic story and grow my founder brand
-
Systems & AI — Airtable, automation, AI agents, make the back end run itself
-
Facilitators — run the room on Impactathon days (which are superrrr fun!!)
Know someone who'd be brilliant at one of these? Tag them below or repost to share with your network.
Can't wait to grow our small team creating BIG impact!
This listing is the Facilitator role. The other two (Brand Marketing & Social and Systems & AI) are posted separately on this board, and all three role descriptions live on Impactic's freelancer hub.

Who we are
Impactic is an award-winning social enterprise reimagining corporate volunteering. We run Impactathons — one-day, skills-based volunteering events where corporate teams use their professional expertise to solve real challenges for charities.
Founded in 2023 by Molly Bevan (Forbes 30 Under 30), Impactic has already engaged almost 1,000 volunteers, with partners spanning leading corporates (e.g. Microsoft), charities (e.g. British Red Cross) and universities (e.g. King's College London).
Impactic creates lasting, meaningful impact for all:
-
Charities: we bridge charity skills shortages with high-quality, pro-bono support, enabling them to overcome challenges and amplify their impact
-
Corporates: we transform corporate volunteering to boost employee engagement, skills development and CSR/ESG outcomes
-
Employees (volunteers): we empower professionals to use their skills for good, aligning their expertise (e.g. strategy, data, finance, marketing) with causes they care about
We're a small but mighty team with big ambitions, and we're growing.
The role
Our Impactathons are structured, high-energy and genuinely impactful, and the facilitator is a big part of what makes it work. We're looking for a freelance Facilitator to join us for our Impactathon days, helping keep energy high, teams on track, and the room feeling focused and fun.
You'll work directly with Molly, Impactic's founder. This is fun, values-led work, backed by household name partners, great for your own portfolio.
We have many exciting events coming up, so are looking for several facilitators to join the team!
Scope
-
Running the day: support the Impactic team with briefing teams, keeping time, and checking in on progress throughout
-
Roaming support: move between teams, answering questions, unblocking, and nudging where needed
-
Holding the room: lead key moments, intros, presentations, transitions, with confidence and energy
-
Reading the room: sense the energy and adapt pacing or approach accordingly
-
Following the playbook: deliver to Impactic's standard session format, so every Impactathon feels consistent
-
Pre and post-event: 3 short calls: (1) onboarding on the challenge pack & context on charity and client (2) meeting key charity & client stakeholders ahead of the day (3) post-Impactathon debrief
What we're looking for
Must have:
-
Facilitation experience: you have excellent communication and facilitation skills, and are comfortable with corporate audiences
-
Strong initiative: you don't need constant direction to know what's needed
-
Good energy: you are kind, positive, dynamic, and confident
-
Strong organisational skills: confident managing time, keeping the day on track, and adapting the schedule on the fly if unexpected things arise
-
Interest in social impact: you want to make the world a better place
-
Adaptive problem-solving: confident troubleshooting on the spot, whether that's a team stuck on their challenge or an unexpected hiccup in the day's schedule
-
Based in or around London: also open to occasional travel for events elsewhere in UK
Nice to have:
-
Sector network: existing relationships in the purpose sector or corporate CSR space
Practicalities
-
Type: Freelance, ad-hoc basis — paid per Impactathon (covers the day itself + pre/post-event calls)
-
Location: In-person only (UK, usually London)
-
Number of days per month: TBC, roughly around 2-3 days to start
-
Start date: Flexible (September ideally) — would typically have around 4 weeks notice before an Impactathon
Application process

- Call (20-30 mins)
- Decision & offer
We're reviewing applications on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged (ideally apply by 30th August). Please expect a fast-paced interview process.
