Godmothers of AIGodmothers of AI is Hiring: Freelance Editorial Assistant
(Paid · 4-month contract · 3 days per week)
As we move into launch phase, we are seeking an experienced freelance Editorial Assistant to support the delivery of our editorial, podcast and cultural programming.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong publishing foundations and sharp editorial judgement.
Responsibilities include:
– Managing contributor copy
– Liaising with writers and interviewees
– Supporting structural and line edits
– Researching arts, film and cultural context
– Maintaining editorial workflow and schedules
Requirements:
– Minimum 2 years’ experience at a major title or publishing house
– Excellent communication skills
– Resourceful, proactive and highly organised
– Comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
London-based preferred (remote considered).
