About the job

My client are looking for a talented contract content creator and optimizer to help them transition to a streamlined AI + Freelance content creator set up.

There goal is to produce high-quality, SEO-driven content that aligns with the tone of voice and brand positioning—covering topics in lifestyle, food & beverage, and culture.

Responsibilities

1. Content Creation

• Write 5 new long-form articles per month (approx. 1,000–1,200 words each).
• Topics aligned with an editorial calendar, SEO strategy, and brand guidelines.
• Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai) to support research and drafting.
• Final content must be human-edited, on-brand, and error-free.
• Source or create relevant images as needed.

2. Content Optimization

• Optimize 5 existing articles per month based on SEO analysis.
• Tasks include keyword integration, metadata updates, structure improvements, and freshness updates.
• Prioritization guided by our existing SEO agency.
• Aim to drive measurable improvements in rankings, CTR, and engagement.

3. Publishing & Workflow

• Collaborate closely with The project lead to align on topics and content quality.
• Deliver articles directly in WordPress CMS, including formatting, metadata, and images.
• Follow a structured editorial process for review and approval.

Ideal Profile

• Strong writing and editing skills in English (native or near-native level).
• Proven experience in SEO-driven content marketing.
• Familiarity or interest in Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
• Hands-on experience with AI tools for content creation.
• Experience working in WordPress or similar CMS.
• Background in lifestyle, food & beverage, or culture topics preferred.
