I'm seeking a motivated part-time e-commerce editor to support our content team at PetMD and Chewy. This is a non-staff contractor role that requires about 20 hours a week. In this position, your primary responsibility will be to optimize content to increase revenue from sales of products featured in articles.
What You’ll Do:
· Update articles to skillfully and organically include Chewy products that provide value to readers
· Identify commerce opportunities within existing library of content
· Use our CMS to publish and update content
· Ensure content follows style guidelines and editorial best practices
· Support the content team with additional tasks related to e-commerce content creation and management
Must have 2-3 years of experience writing and/or editing e-commerce content, ideally for a health or lifestyle brand. Competitive hourly rates commensurate with experience. Our expected hourly rate is $30-$40 per hour.
