About the Role

We are hiring a Creative Marketing Lead to own the creative output, brand voice, and social presence that drive Purpose’s growth. You will own social media strategy, ad creative strategy, our UGC creator programs, and top-of-funnel copy across every surface where people encounter Purpose for the first time. You will manage a roster of UGC creators, social media freelancers, and agency relationships to produce content that regularly performs.

You will report to the founding team and work closely with Mark himself. This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You will build and execute strategy, not just pitch it. You will concept, write, direct, and ship — and you will manage external partners to do the same at scale.

If you have spent your career figuring out how to make people care about a product in the first three seconds they see it, and you want to do that for something that actually helps people, this is the role.

What You Will Own

  • Social Media Strategy
    • Own Purpose’s social media presence across platforms. Define the content strategy, voice, posting cadence, and creative direction that builds an audience of people who care about personal growth and turns them into users. You will determine what we post, where we post it, and why.
  • UGC Creator Program
    • Build and manage a network of UGC creators who produce authentic content about Purpose. Source creators, write briefs, give feedback, maintain quality standards, and scale the program as the brand grows. You own the pipeline from creator identification through final deliverable.
  • Ad Creative
    • Own the creative strategy and production for paid acquisition across channels. Help concept, script, and direct performance creative — static, video, and hybrid formats. Work with the Head of Growth to interpret performance data and iterate on what converts. You are responsible for making ads that people actually stop scrolling for.
  • Top-of-Funnel Copy and Creative
    • Write and optimize the copy and creative assets that sit at the top of the funnel — landing pages, promotional campaigns, email sequences, and anywhere else a potential user encounters Purpose for the first time. Collaborate with the Product Growth Manager on conversion optimization where your creative meets their funnel.
  • Brand Voice and Visual Consistency
    • Maintain and evolve Purpose’s brand identity across every external touchpoint. Ensure that everything we put into the world — from a TikTok to a landing page to an ad — feels like it comes from the same team with the same standards. Art direct freelancers and agency partners to keep output on-brand.
  • External Partner Management
    • Manage relationships with ad agencies, freelance designers, copywriters, and production partners. Brief them clearly, hold them to deadlines, and ensure their output meets our quality bar. You are the point of contact between Purpose and anyone producing creative on our behalf.

Candidates Must Have:

  • 5-8 years of experience in creative marketing, brand marketing, or growth creative at a DTC brand, consumer app, or high-growth startup
  • Demonstrated ability to produce ad creative that scaled — not just managed teams who did
  • Strong writing ability across formats: headlines, scripts, landing pages, social copy, and creator briefs
  • Experience managing UGC creators, influencer programs, or freelance creative talent
  • Working understanding of performance marketing metrics — you can read a dashboard, identify what is underperforming, and adjust creative accordingly without waiting for someone to tell you
  • Experience managing agency/contractor relationships and holding external partners to a quality standard
  • Strong visual eye with the ability to direct designers and video editors even if you are not one yourself. 
  • Comfort with using AI tools for content ideation, copywriting, and creative workflows
  • A deep passion for personal growth and helping millions of people live better, more fulfilling lives. 

Strongest Candidates Will Have: 

  • Experience in health, wellness, personal development, or subscription app marketing
  • Familiarity with AI-powered products or coaching platforms
  • Track record of building a brand’s social presence from early stage
  • Experience working in environments under 25 people where you wore multiple hats
