Copywriter (Part-Time / Remote) ✍️

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Copywriter to join our Ad Network team on a part-time basis (10–15 hours per week). This person will collaborate closely with our Ad Solutions team to help craft, edit, and review ad copy for brand campaigns running across the beehiiv Ad Network.

You’ll help ensure that every campaign that goes live is polished, on-brand, and optimized for performance by balancing creative storytelling with data-driven insights into what converts in newsletters. You’ll also play an active role in ongoing optimization, updating, and testing ad copy to improve metrics like CTR, conversion rate, and engagement across campaigns.

When time allows, you will also have the opportunity to help craft paid advertising, work with advertisers for our beehiiv-owned Creator Spotlight newsletter, and take part in any other creative concepting projects that occur.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• 2-4 years of experience at an ad agency, tech startup, or similar
• Strong writer with a knack for concise, persuasive, and engaging copy.
• Comfortable switching between tones, from conversational to professional, based on brand voice.
• Team oriented and collaborative, able to work with multiple teams and communicate effectively with numerous projects at once.
• Detail-oriented and organized; able to review copy quickly and accurately.
• (Bonus) Familiar with ad performance metrics like CTR or conversion rate.
• (Bonus) Experience writing for DTC, SaaS, or content-driven brands.
• (Bonus) Experience copywriting for a Newsletter (ex. Morning Brew, The Hustle, etc.) or Ad Network (Paved, LiveIntent, etc.)

• Work with the sales and account management teams to optimize ad messaging for click-through rate (CTR) and engagement.
• Develop variations of copy (short/long form, subject lines, CTA testing) for A/B experiments.
• Maintain a copy library of high-performing ads and insights to guide future campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal teams to evolve ad creative best practices and templates.
• Work across other beehiiv teams (Creator Spotlight, Growth, Enterprise Sales) to create advertising and social content for beehiiv
