We’re Hiring Contributing Writers, Content Creators, and Journalists!

She Matters is building our network of writers, journalists, creatives, content creators, and contributors interested in engaging deeply with issues related to sexual violence, intimate partner violence, domestic violence, childhood sexual abuse, healing, justice, care, and systemic change.

This is an ongoing paid opportunity to contribute long-form writing, interviews, reflections, storytelling, social media content, and analysis through She Matters platforms and publications. Compensation is $250 per 500-word piece.

We’re seeking writing that moves beyond surface-level commentary and explores the deeper social, emotional, cultural, and systemic realities shaping people’s lives.

Important note: these submissions should reflect your genuine voice and lived experiences. AI assisted content is discouraged, and AI generated content is not within the scope of this engagement.

We hope to connect with applicants who genuinely understand the realities of sexual violence in Canada and approach this work with care.
