MX is seeking an experienced Contract Senior Copywriter to support a high-visibility B2B rebrand initiative. This is a strategic opportunity to shape brand positioning, messaging architecture, and voice, then bring it to life across a full website rebrand and launch campaign.

You’ll partner closely with internal marketing leadership and content teams to define foundational messaging and create conversion-focused website copy that strengthens brand presence and drives engagement. From positioning statements and brand narrative to homepage messaging and launch content, you’ll play a critical role in how this brand shows up in the market.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead copy development for a website launch and rebrand, owning the words that drive both human connection and search performance across every page.
  • Execute within and enhance an existing content strategy for the full site: homepage, solutions, product/service pages, about, and landing pages, bringing each to life through keyword strategy, search intent, and a clear point of view while identifying opportunities to sharpen the strategy.
  • Refine and build on established messaging frameworks and positioning to strengthen brand authority and differentiation in competitive B2B markets, while aiming to improve discoverability across traditional and AI-powered search.
  • Write SEO- and AI-search- informed web content that ranks without sacrificing voice.
  • Partner with marketing, agency leadership, and the content team to keep copy aligned with business objectives, demand generation goals, and launch timelines.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of copywriting experience; B2B agency experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work within and elevate an existing content strategy, contributing strategic thinking and flagging opportunities without needing to build from scratch
  • Deep fluency in SEO fundamentals (keyword strategy, content structure, metadata, search intent mapping) plus working knowledge of AEO and GEO as the search landscape evolves
  • Proven experience supporting brand launches and rebranding initiatives
  • Portfolio demonstrating:
    • Distinct brand voice development
    • Website and launch work
    • Both big-idea thinking and long-form execution
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced environments while juggling multiple projects.
  • Collaborative, can-do attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or proven experience in writing, advertising, or related field

Compensation Range: $65 - $90 hourly. MX believes it will pay this pay range for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant’s experience, skills, and qualifications in addition to the requirements of the position. MX reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. This is an independent contractor relationship therefore ineligible to participate in MX’s benefits program.
