Contract B2B Tech Content Writer
instinctoolsIf there's one thing you can count on in this world, it's LinkedIn filling up with new job posts the moment September comes around.
instinctools has decided not to break with tradition.
Our marketing team is looking for a part-time content writer (contract) to join us and help create expert-level content for the B2B tech space.
And here comes the part where we brag a little, but just because we've earned it:)
We're genuinely proud of the quality of content we publish at instinctools. Over time, we've built the process that allows us to consistently produce thoughtful, well-researched, expert-level pieces that are useful to the people reading them. You can check it out for yourself >> instinctools.com
We've always kept the quality bar high for our in-house writers, and we never lower it when working with contractors.
So, if your idea of writing is to open an LLM, jot down a prompt, and call it a day, we're probably not a good match.
But if you enjoy digging into a topic, figuring out how things actually work, finding credible sources, asking the right questions, and turning all of that into clear, engaging content – please, keep reading.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience writing authoritative, well-structured B2B tech content, ideally for software development companies
- Strong research and analytical skills: you should be comfortable working with complex tech topics, evaluating sources, and getting beyond surface-level information
- Experience working with SEO/GEO briefs and translating these requirements into natural, high-quality content without compromising readability or subject-matter depth
- Versatility across content formats: landing pages, blog articles, PR materials
- C1-C2 English proficiency and excellent command of written American English
- A solid understanding of tone, structure, argumentation, and storytelling in long-form content
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow editorial guidelines
- Reliability: you can manage your workload independently and consistently meet agreed-upon deadlines
What we offer:
This is a part-time, contract-based role with a flexible, assignment-based workload, which depends on our content needs and editorial calendar.
We promise clear briefs, well-established processes, thoughtful editorial support, realistic deadlines, and competitive, always-on-time compensation.
Most importantly, you'll be working with a team that genuinely cares about good writing and knows that quality content takes more than simply filling a word count.
Sounds like your kind of thing? Then DM me with a few words about your relevant experience and links to writing samples you're particularly proud of.
September is for new beginnings. Maybe this one is yours;)
