About the Role
We are hiring a Content Writer who brings clarity, strategy, and a performance mindset to every piece of writing. This is not a basic copy-paste or rewording role. It's a strategic position focused on content that delivers results.

You will work closely with marketing strategists, SEO specialists, and internal stakeholders to create and refine content that drives traffic, supports client goals, and aligns with keyword opportunities. Your writing should be purposeful, optimized, and genuinely useful.

This role is ideal for someone who writes with intent, can analyze keywords, and thrives in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Optimization

• Write clear, compelling, and optimized content for client websites, blogs, and campaigns
  
• Tailor content to different industries, goals, and tone guidelines
  
• Ensure content is aligned with SEO strategies and search intent
  

Keyword Research

• Use tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs to conduct keyword research
  
• Interpret search trends and identify content opportunities
  
• Collaborate with strategists on content briefs and outlines
  

Editing & QA

• Review content for grammar, tone, accuracy, and formatting
  
• Assist with meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking as needed
  
• Ensure all content meets quality and SEO standards
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with Client Strategists, SEO Leads, and Designers
  
• Interpret briefs and implement feedback clearly and quickly
  
• Participate in planning calls and performance reviews
  

Workflow & Delivery

• Meet deadlines and manage your writing queue
  
• Stay organized and responsive in a remote-first environment
  
• Deliver polished drafts ready for review or upload
  

What We Are Looking For

• A strong writer who understands the mechanics of digital content
  
• Ability to balance clarity, creativity, and keyword relevance
  
• Working knowledge of SEO principles and CMS basics
  
• Excellent time management and responsiveness
  
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  

What You Bring

• 3 to 5 years of experience in content writing or SEO content creation
  
• Proven track record of writing for web and blog platforms
  
• Experience with tools like Google Docs, SEMrush, or similar
  
• Ability to adapt tone and structure to different client types
  
• Comfort with asynchronous work and remote collaboration
  

Work Requirements

• 100 percent remote work-from-home
  
• Location: South Africa
  
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time
  

Must have:

• Personal computer and dual monitors
  
• Quiet, professional workspace
  
• Reliable high-speed internet
  
• Backup power supply (if applicable)
