We're a team of skilled professionals who love to be creative and do an excellent job for our clients...and we have fun whilst doing so!

We have been a remote/dispersed team since day-1, so we're fully geared up with how to develop a team ethos, positive work culture, efficient systems and processes, and unified goals. You'd be surprised how close our remote team are!

During the day-to-day, everyone is trusted to work autonomously, whether on our client work or internal content and projects. We have plenty of team meetings (...though not too many!) and in-person meet-ups too - full-team multi-day meet-ups happen 2-3 times per year.

We're truly global, the majority of our clients are in the US. We have clients in the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Poland, Canada, Sweden, Denmark and Australia too.

We're looking for creative, hard-working, fun, driven people to join us on our journey...we're only just getting started!! We could be the employer for you if:

  • You thrive when working autonomously
  • You prefer not to have someone looking over your shoulder!
  • You are confident to make decisions, and recognize when you need to ask for help
  • You're a team player - you never say "not my problem". We admit mistakes and forgive mistakes, and most importantly we learn from them
  • You seek opportunities to grow and improve - professionally and personally
  • You're obsessive about quality. We have a "no mercy" philosophy to mediocre content!
  • You buzz off client and team successes
  • You genuinely enjoy content and the fast moving world of content marketing
  • It helps if you like communicating in GIFs, but this is not compulsory!

We are looking for a Content Marketing Executive to join the team. Every day you will be working with blogs, podcasts, videos, social media and other online content for ourselves and our clients. The role is full-time (37.5 hrs) and home-based - we will consider part-time for the right person. Our notional HQ is Manchester, UK, but our team is spread across multiple locations, working remotely using Zoom, Slack, and ClickUp to collaborate. We have in-person team meet-ups, too.

We are a hard-working, supportive, fun, lively team who are genuinely passionate about our jobs. This is a multi-faceted position that is ideally suited to a methodical, process-driven, and hard-working individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  We’re looking for someone who wants to develop a long-term career with us - the role offers excellent scope for professional growth and career advancement.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2 years experience who is organised, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their career in content marketing.

THE PERSON

Is this you?

You are incredibly organised; in fact, you really enjoy organisation. In a team, you transform chaos into order and ensure no balls are dropped.

You have insane attention to detail. You could spot a typo or a misaligned image in a blink! You immediately notice editing mishaps in a video or when audio is off.

We really mean this: if attention to detail is not your thing, and you don't enjoy it, this isn’t the role for you.

You enjoy communicating with clients and developing strong working relationships with them.  You understand how important it is to respond to clients in a timely manner, be professional and friendly at all times, and take the time to really understand them so that we don't just deliver, but over-deliver!

You are tech-savvy. You are digitally intuitive, and you’re the kind of person who picks up new online tools, software, websites etc, with ease.

You are very interested in using AI to speed-up and improve processes and are familiar and skilled in using a variety of generative AI tools. You experiment with different AI use-cases and keep up-to-date on latest tools and ideas.

You are a problem solver and an independent self-starter. You’re the kind of person who meets a problem, gets onto ChatGPT, Google or YouTube etc, and solves the problem. Bish, bash, bosh.

You’re really interested in the world of content marketing, social media, and online content. You use social media personally, and you tend to head online to gen AI, blogs, podcasts, etc, to learn about things.

THE JOB

Reporting into our Head of Operations & Client Account Management, the Content Marketing Executive is responsible for three key things:

  1. Planning, coordinating, collating and reviewing the work of the team to ensure that everything is completed on time and to a high quality - for our clients and our own internal projects and content
  2. The accurate and timely publication of content onto our own and our clients' websites, social media, podcast hosting platforms, YouTube…etc.
  3. Communicating with our clients on a regular basis - keeping them updated on work status, and helping to develop and grow strong, lasting relationships with them

This involves:

  • Ensuring that we are always focused on brand consistency and quality
  • Setting up, formatting, and publishing content in WordPress, and posting content on online channels e.g. social media platforms, YouTube

  • Finding proven ways to bring AI into our systems and processes in order to make us faster and more efficient, enabling us to improve our deliverables and overall client satisfaction
  • Other cool things…the world of content is constantly evolving and so will your role (within reason)...never a dull day!

Tools used (experience desirable but not essential)

What will you NOT do?

  • Highly organised
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Able to develop and grow client relationships
  • You are tech-savvy and can quickly adopt new tech/software

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Direct hands-on experience in marketing and social media would be advantageous, but we will consider someone without years of experience if they have the right attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn and develop
  • Academic qualifications in marketing will be advantageous but aren't essential
  • 2 years work experience - ideally in an agency but not essential - but you must have experience working in a fast-paced environment

In return, we will provide:

  • Salary based on talent and experience - range £25k-27.5k

You’ll be part of a close-knit agency that puts its clients first at all times but one that also recognises and rewards the hard work and professionalism of its staff.  Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Position is full-time - we will consider part-time for the right person. Home-based with occasional travel for team meet-ups.
