About Us:

We’re a mission-driven women’s health startup redefining how women understand and track their health through our mobile app. Our platform empowers users with personalised insights rooted in science, body literacy, and compassion. As we scale, we’re seeking a strategic Content Manager to shape and execute a smart, thoughtful content strategy across multiple channels.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a seasoned part time Content Manager (consultant-level) to lead the development and execution of our content strategy. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing our content strategy, building and managing a team of writers, coordinating with medical professionals for content accuracy, and optimising content for SEO, user education, and brand marketing. This role is both strategic and hands-on, with room to grow as we expand our reach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive content strategy aligned with brand goals, SEO, user engagement, and education
  • Define, shape, and ensure consistent application of the brand voice across all content and platforms
  • Translate brand values and positioning into actionable content strategies
  • Build and manage a team of freelance or in-house writers; foster a strong editorial voice and workflow
  • Plan and manage the content calendar across blog, email, in-app content, SEO, social media, and partner channels
  • Source and manage relationships with medical professionals to review, validate and sponsor the content
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure content supports product education, user acquisition, and retention goals
  • Ensure that content supports multiple audiences including content on the web, in the app, in the community and across all social media channels.
  • Track content performance using analytics tools; optimise based on insights
  • Support sourcing and shaping of partnership opportunities tied to editorial or campaign initiatives
  • Stay current on trends in women's health, health tech, and content marketing

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years experience in content strategy, editorial management, or digital publishing (health or wellness background strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of SEO, UX writing, and multi-channel content distribution
  • Experience hiring and managing freelance or in-house writers and editors
  • Comfortable collaborating with medical advisors or clinical professionals
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Excellent communication, project management, and editorial skills

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in femtech or women’s health
  • Background in journalism or healthcare content marketing
  • Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Notion, and CMS platforms

This is a remote part time contract position with compensation of $1,500 monthly. Consultant must be based in the United States.
