As GTMnow continues to grow, we’re excited to be expanding the team.

About GTMnow

  • GTMnow is a media company that shares how the best in tech build, scale and invest. Content goes out to a direct audience network of 100k+ founders, operators and investors.
  • GTMnow is owned by venture capital firm, GTMfund.
  • We’re builders by nature, and by necessity (we absolutely love building).
  • We value operational excellence and hold a high bar.

About the role

You’ll own audience growth through content. You’ll run the experimentation engine and compound what works. This isn’t a content production role in the traditional sense, it’s an audience and distribution role that uses content as its primary lever. It’s also not a narrow role — you’ll be involved in overall media operations.

What you’ll do

  • Own the execution of audience growth tactics, and contribute to the strategy, across GTMnow’s content surfaces.
  • Partner closely with the production team to turn long-form content (podcast, video, newsletter) into high-performing short-form clips, native social posts, and repurposed assets across channels.
  • Expand distribution surfaces.
  • Run a high-velocity experimentation engine — test hooks, formats, thumbnails, and posting cadence relentlessly, then double down on what works.
  • Own performance reporting across channels.
  • Support wherever needed across GTMnow to accelerate growth. This is a builder role, not a narrow function.

About you

  • You’ve driven audience growth somewhere (e.g. a media company, creator business, podcast network, content-led brand, or software company with a strong content engine). You understand how to grow an audience.
  • Native to modern social platforms. You study what works and why.
  • Both creative and quantitative — strong taste paired with data-driven decisions.
  • Fluent in modern AI tooling, always curious and learning more.
  • Strong writer who adapts tone and format across channels, with the ability to write/edit both long-form and short-form content.
  • Excellent design instincts. You care about visual polish.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • Interested in tech and software.
  • Scrappy, and energized by fast-moving environments.

Benefits

  • A high-growth environment where this will be a career unlock.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
  • Remote operations (or work IRL in our Vancouver, CAN office)

How to apply

Fill out the application form. Instead of a traditional cover letter, please send Sophie (SVP Marketing) an email at sophie@gtmfund.com with:

  • Why you’re the right fit for the role.
  • An achievement you’re proud of (from any discipline).
  • The most interesting thing you’ve built with AI.
  • (and any other ways that you want to get creative).

No agencies, please — we appreciate the enthusiasm, but this is an in-house hire. Thank you!

This role is open to North America, with a preferred country of Canada.
