Timeline cleanse with a post that’s not about AI: I’M HIRING two real, human content designers. ✨
Yep, that’s right. We’re on a mission to help people better understand their health so they can live longer, healthier lives.
As a content designer, that brings some exciting challenges – from how we reduce barriers to getting involved in health research and make the complex clear, to how we build trust and connect with communities who’ve historically been underrepresented.
I’m looking for:
💫 1x Content Designer
You’ll need to be UK-based with rights to work here. Remote with some travel to London for team days. Appreciative of GIFs and custom Slack emojis (joking, this isn’t mandatory).
What is important is that you can look beyond the words. They’re absolutely important, ofc, but your ability to be pragmatic, to problem solve, to find paths forward is just as important.
I’m not looking for someone who just knows what the perfect content design process is. I’m looking for someone who has the skills, agency and adaptability to help shape what that looks like for unique health context.
😍 THE REAL GOOD BITS
• You’ll be embedded in a product squad on a fascinating health area.
• You’ll work with a growing team of great content designers, who’ll be there to share ideas and crit with you.
• You’ll report into a manager who gets it. One who’ll trust you to work with autonomy and be there to support you and help unblock challenges.
• I give a hoot about you, not just what you do. I’ll make time for you as a human and I truly care about helping content designers grow. (Don’t just take my word for it, see what some of my previous team had to say in my LinkedIn reccos).
• The work is important but I promise we’ll make time for fun along the way.
Something I’ve also found personally refreshing is being somewhere that we can talk about health openly, somewhere that cares about the wellbeing of its employees just as much as its participants.
If it sounds like a bit of you, please:
✅ Take a look at the job ads.
✅ Apply if one matches your experience and what you’re looking for.
❌ So everyone gets a fair experience, I won’t be able to reply to DMs outside the process but everyone’s application will be reviewed by us humans.

About Content Design
How do we help people understand complex health information in ways that feel clear, useful and trustworthy? How do we design experiences that work for people with different needs, backgrounds and levels of confidence? How do we support more people to feel informed, included and empowered to take part in health research?
These are the kinds of challenges you'll work on a Content Designer at Our Future Health.
This role goes far beyond writing copy. Content design at Our Future Health is about understanding problems deeply, using evidence and insight to shape decisions, and designing experiences that are not just usable, but useful — from journeys and navigation to information architecture, interaction flows and content strategy.
You'll report into our Head of Content Design and be part of a growing content design practice where your work can make a real difference.
The role
As a Content Designer in a product squad, you'll work closely with Researchers, Behavioural Scientists, Product Managers, Product Designers and Engineers to discover, define, develop and deliver our ambitious programme. Together, you'll shape experiences that help people engage with Our Future Health in ways that feel simple, supportive and human.
