Content Creator / Social Media Manager

We're looking for a content creator/social media manager to work with me at UseGarde.

Garde allows users to extract recipe videos as texts, so users can "read" recipes, instead of pausing, rewinding, and playing the video when they need to cook. We have other features that make Garde useful, which is why we need to push it hard via consistent, organic marketing at least for the next few months.

What we're looking for ("we" because I have a co-founder):
- Basically someone with strong design and video creation/editing skills.

About Garde: 

Garde converts recipes and DIY videos into Notes-like texts. 

The core value is that you can copy a YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook link and convert it into a structured text with ingredients/materials and step-by-step instructions to replicate the video. Watch some of the videos here to understand how it works. 

This way, Garde lets you read recipe or DIY-craft videos as texts, create a shopping list, and meal prep your week with the meal planner feature. 

Target Users: Home cooks, stay at home moms or dads, food enthusiasts, DIY hobbyists who want to save and organize tutorials from social media without constantly pausing videos or losing content in their saved folders. 

Value Prop: Turns social media cooking/DIY videos into permanent, organized, searchable knowledge base. 

We’re new, have a lean budget, and are looking for someone with strong design and video creation/editing skills to manage our content creation efforts on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. 

What you will do: 

• Create a content strategy for TikTok, IG, and Facebook 
• Design carousels 
• Create and edit videos 
• Engage the platforms to ensure our content gets traction 
• Post and manage the social media pages 

NOTE: The most important part of this role is that you have impressive design skills with Canva or any other tool and can create and edit videos with CapCut or any other premium tool. You’ll work with me on content strategy, so it definitely won’t be solo on you. 

Who you are: 

• Self-starter, with strong design and video content creation skills 
• A creative, can think fast and move fast 
• Good with words, so you know the right things to write 
• Fast, proactive, and not reactive. I’d love you to know what’s at stake, communicate a solution to us as soon as you notice the problem 
• Someone who intends to scale with us, because we’ll reward you as soon as our marketing efforts starts translating to revenue
