General Description

Reporting to the Content and Communication Manager as the Content Creator of Shanyi Brands, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and engaging content that elevates our brand and drives customer engagement. You will be at the forefront of our communications strategy, producing high-quality visual and audio content that resonates with our target audience across various platforms, including social media, website, and marketing materials.

This role is a hybrid role, where you work from the office 1-2 times a week and work from home or content creation site for the week.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Shoot, edit, and produce high-quality videos, such as product demos, tutorials, and behind-the-scenes footage for all social media pages based on the monthly calendar.
• Shoot clear, bright and aesthetic product pictures for graphics, website, newsletters and social media
• Collaborate with the team to develop creative video concepts.
• Develop compelling visual stories to connect with our audience on an emotional level.
• Produce UGC in-house and on-site
• Host and manage social media Lives
• Create and manage visual content for brand physical events
• Stay up to date with the latest beauty and cosmetic trends on social media
• Work closely with the marketing, design, and social media teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Collaborate with influencers and partners to create engaging content.
• Timely delivery of visuals for monthly social media calendar for all brands and other visuals needed based on the content schedule.
• Work with the Content and Communication Manager and other team members to ensure seamless and prompt brand communication (news, updates, sales, new product launches, etc) on all fronts.
• Execute innovative campaign ideas and strategies for new product launches, promotions, and activations with captivating visuals.

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Economics, or other relevant fields.
• At least 1 year of experience in Content Production or Communications or a similar role.
• Knowledge of content creation and editing software (Capcut, Canva, Inshot, etc) and Content Management platforms (Airtable, Google Drive, etc.)
• Strong video editing and storytelling skills.
• Strong photography skills to capture high-quality product photos and other images
• Great project management skills, including time management, goal-setting, and prioritization.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively to deliver desired results.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.
• Strong understanding of the beauty industry, and media landscape across beauty, fashion, lifestyle, culture, etc
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with the marketing team.
• Access to good electricity and wifi is a plus.

Salary and Benefits 

The starting monthly salary average for this role is 150,000 naira. This can be increased based on performance after the 3 months probation. There are other benefits like Health Insurance and other allowances accessible after probation.
