B2B Content Marketing, Virtual Assistance, SEO + AEO + GEO, AI and Automation

We’re looking for a Content Assistant to join the Brand and Content Team at Jacada. With a passion for learning about content marketing and for travel, you’ll join a welcoming and experienced team. We craft the words and storytelling surrounding the destinations, trips and experiences featured across our website.

We’re looking for someone detail-oriented, who should have experience or knowledge of SEO and AI best practices. A keen eye for grammar and style will be important in this role.

The ideal candidate will have relevant professional work experience. This could be within a previous role, an internship or as a freelancer. A travel industry background isn’t essential, but you should have an understanding of writing and editing for the web, including SEO, image research and using a CMS. Experience in the luxury sector is a plus.

You should be comfortable managing your own workload, pacing micro-tasks with long-lead deadlines as well as turning around quick copy or edits as needed. You enjoy working collaboratively, forging strong relationships within the marketing team as well as with travel experts across the business.

About the role

You’ll be reporting to the Content Marketing Manager and working closely with the rest of the Content team, Product Managers and Marketing team.

Day-to-day, you’ll support the team responsible for updating and maintaining the content on our website and in our client portal. This might include optimising our pages, updating sample itineraries, researching images, editing hotel pages, or distilling extensive background material into succinct summaries for our travellers.

You’ll also have the opportunity to be involved in wider content projects including producing articles for our site and contributing to our print magazine.

What we’re looking for

Essential:

  • Experience writing for the web
  • Comfortable using a CMS, ideally WordPress
  • Experience using image libraries
  • Ability to write and edit accurate, clean copy
  • Excellent grammar
  • Comfortable working to multiple deadlines
  • An understanding of how to use AI appropriately

Good to have:

  • A strong writing portfolio
  • Experience within the travel industry
  • Knowledge of the luxury sector
  • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives
  • An understanding of SEO best practices
  • A strong eye for visual details

What you’re like

You’ll have a passion for learning about the world and a keen interest in responsible travel.

Being able to work in a team is essential, but it’s also important to work independently, show initiative and bring new ideas to the table.

Highly organised, you should be able to multitask and prioritise work effectively, communicating regularly with colleagues.

We are a fast-growing company, so the ideal candidate will also be able embrace change and new challenges.

What to expect

We’re a bespoke travel company specialised in creating seamless, luxury journeys around the world, primarily for US guests.

At Jacada we’ve created a positive and collaborative environment where people are trusted and encouraged to work autonomously, put their own stamp on things, and experiment with new ideas.

While we have a lovely office in London and some of us work days from there regularly, the marketing team is mostly remote. This role is open to remote applications from those based within two hours of GMT.

Beyond the workplace, we’re on a quest to uplift the world through travel and leave a positive impact wherever we go. Joining Jacada means being part of a group of travellers who are passionate about conservation, sustainability and cultivating authentic connections among diverse people across the globe. Part of Wilderness Destinations, we’re contributing to their conservation mission across some of the most important ecosystems in the world.
