WE'RE HIRING, however half of the applications we received were instantly disqualified because of one simple question.
We’re hiring a Growth Marketing Manager focused on content and social, and we only ask two questions in the application. One of them is: "Tell us three B2B brands you think are doing a strong job with social and content, and explain why".
You’d think this is the easiest way to stand out. Instead, 50 percent of candidates gave the exact same three brands, in the exact same order, with the exact same reasoning.
ChatGPT trio.
I have nothing against using LLMs for applications. But if you use them, at least add your take. Show some taste. Show a point of view. Especially when the question literally invites you to have one.
What surprises me is how little effort went into personalising answers. Not because I expect cover letters, I actually hate them. I just expect candidates to use simple opportunities to show how they think.
LLMs shouldn’t make you sound like everyone else. They should help you sharpen your thinking, not flatten it.
Btw - if you have any good candidates for this role [...] DM me.

Our mission: Fixing trust in commerce
For a decade, we've been on a mission to close the Trust Gap—commerce's most expensive problem. In a world where distance and digital interfaces separate buyers and sellers, we're building the definitive trust infrastructure that enables global trade to flourish.
We recognize that trust is not binary but a spectrum, and our work continually expands the boundaries of commerce itself. Each improvement we make enables transactions that previously wouldn't have happened, revealing new frontiers where trust can be further enhanced.
Our impact today
We've grown from an idea into the dominant force for trust in e-commerce:
The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Growth Marketing Manager – Content & Social Media who combines strong content knowledge and writing, sharp SEO thinking, and confident social media execution with a deeply growth-oriented mindset.
This is not a traditional content role and not a generic social role. It is for someone who understands how content, search, and distribution work together to drive measurable business results.
You will plan our content roadmap, own the keyword strategy end to end, produce high-quality content across multiple formats, and run our social channels with intention and creativity. You will use data, search insights, and AI tools to guide your decisions, and you will take ideas from concept to execution quickly.
The goal is simple, and entirely organic: consistent, meaningful growth in customer acquisition, traffic, reach, and engagement, driven by someone who treats content and social as proper growth levers.
This role

This role is for someone who lives and breathes organic growth, and who uses content, SEO, and social media as their primary channels/tactics.
