Job Title: Content & Brand Specialist

Reports to: Brands & Content Lead

 

JOB SUMMARY

Zedcrest Group is seeking for a dynamic, mid-level professional with a strong content background to lead our team of junior content analysts. The ideal candidate will not only guide the content team but will also collaborate closely on brand initiatives, serving as a secondary point of contact and mirroring senior leadership when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a content strategy and implement social media/communication campaigns for all subsidiaries across the group.
  • Supervise and mentor junior content analysts, ensuring content meets company standards and objectives.
  • Work directly with leadership on brand initiatives, as a secondary lead when required.
  • Ensure consistent growth in social media engagement, followership and reach for all company social media platforms.
  • Ensure the consistency, accuracy, and quality of content produced by the team.
  • Stay updated with the latest content and industry trends, integrating them into our strategies.
  • Constructively critique and implement feedback, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (like design, marketing, and product) to ensure alignment in brand and content initiatives.
  • Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary for maximum efficacy.

REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Journalism). Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in content roles with a proven track record in team leadership and brand initiatives.
  • Demonstrable experience in creating and managing diverse content types.
  • Proven experience in guiding and mentoring junior team members.
  • Ability to understand and translate brand initiatives into actionable strategies.
  • Capable of pivoting strategies based on company needs and industry changes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to liaise with senior leadership effectively.
  • Proficiency in content analytics tools and understanding performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborative environments, working seamlessly with diverse teams.
