Part-time✨ 8-10hrs per week ✨ Fully remote ✨ US-friendly hours ✨ $40-$70 per hour depending on experience

Hey there! 👋

The Groove team is looking for a new part-time team member to support the community on our on-demand coworking app helping members (aka Groovers) feel celebrated, supported, and connected.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Empathetic and people-focused: You genuinely care about creating positive experiences and are comfortable serving in a community-facing role. You believe in the power of connection and love fostering a welcoming, supportive environment.
  • Detail-oriented and driven by excellence: Whether it’s issuing a refund or writing a thoughtful email to a new member, you’re a stickler for getting the small things just right.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills: You know how to read a situation, think critically, and make calls that balance the needs of the individual and the community.
  • Tech-savvy (or quick to learn): We use tools like Notion (for our community FAQ), RevenueCat (for subscriptions), and SendGrid (for emails). You don’t need prior experience with these—just a willingness to dive in and create systems that make your personal workflow smooth.
  • Flexible and adaptable: While you’ll have regular to-dos, you’re excited to experiment with new ideas that boost engagement and retention.
  • Good vibes enthusiast: You embody the Groove brand, spreading positivity, high fives, and a passion for supporting business owners and creatives.
  • A team player: You love contributing to a small team, wearing different hats as needed.

Projects we need support on:

  • Acting as the point person for member feedback and questions (including billing!), ensuring every member feels cared for and escalating suggestions to the founders as needed
  • Reinforcing community norms and agreements as the community moderator
  • Engaging with members through our in-app bulletin boards, sending encouragement and high fives in the app
  • Updating our wall of love with sweet social media posts from members
  • Managing Groove’s inboxes on Instagram and LinkedIn, reposting member-generated content
  • Responding to requests for partnerships, collaborations, or press inquiries
  • Writing community-wide emails as needed to share updates or making changes to the email onboarding flow

We’re big believers in tailoring roles to fit an individual’s strengths. That’s why we’re excited to leave space for you to bring your own magic to the community.

For example, you might:

  • Host virtual events for the community
  • Create a Slack group for members to engage asynchronously outside of the Groove app (this has been highly requested!)
  • Build and maintain a database for members to easily connect with one another
  • Create social content to showcase and celebrate members

If this sounds like your jam…

Please email our CEO & Co-founder, Josh Greene, at josh@groove.ooo by Friday, February 14th with:

  • A bit about yourself and why this role excites you
  • Any relevant experience (feel free to link your LinkedIn or portfolio!)
