We’re looking for a Community & Growth Marketing Associate to help us scale our brand, connect with social media managers, and build a community people genuinely want to be part of 💬📈

This role is perfect for someone who loves social media, knows how to create content that resonates, and can spot growth opportunities in the wild. You’ll help us pitch Rella to the right people, grow our presence online and in community spaces, and support our marketing team across campaigns.

Rella is an all-in-one project management platform built for social media teams. We're a small, fast-moving, and profitable startup founded by creators and operators who know the pain points of managing content, clients, and campaigns firsthand. Our mission is to make managing social media easier and be the go-to tool for content-driven project management.

We're looking for a creative, organized, and highly motivated Community & Growth Marketing Associate to join our team and help grow Rella’s user base, brand presence, and community relationships. You’ll work directly with our founding team to bring campaigns to life, build relationships with other social media managers, and champion our product in creator, freelancer, and agency circles. You will be employee #1 outside of our founding team!


🎯 What You'll Own

🌱 Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Identify and build authentic relationships with social media managers, creators, agencies, and relevant communities
  • Help pitch Rella to new audiences, including community groups, online forums, events, and digital coworking spaces
  • Support onboarding and engagement of ambassadors, superfans, and beta testers
  • Build our presence in relevant Slack groups, Facebook groups, Discords, and Reddit threads

🚀 Campaigns & Growth Marketing

  • Contribute to ideation and execution of content series, referral campaigns, and influencer partnerships
  • Help brainstorm and support micro-influencer and UGC-style campaigns
  • Source content creators for paid and organic collaborations
  • Monitor campaign impact and surface insights for optimization

🗣️ Content & Customer Interaction

  • Support email marketing and community newsletters
  • Reply to DMs and comments with brand voice (we’ll train you!)
  • Help close customer support tickets when relevant
  • Turn community questions into content ideas, FAQs, and tutorials

💡 Who You Are

  • You’re obsessed with online community building and social media culture
  • You’ve worked on or closely with content, creator, or agency teams
  • You have strong communication skills and love relationship-building
  • You’re organized, self-directed, and excited to be part of a growing early-stage company
  • You’ve used project management and content scheduling tools before

📊 What Success Looks Like

This is a highly metrics-driven role. Success will be measured by your ability to:

  • Build strong, ongoing relationships with social media managers and key communities
  • Contribute to top-of-funnel growth through campaigns, content, partnerships, and outreach
  • Help grow and engage our community groups and ambassador network
  • Resolve customer support requests efficiently and empathetically
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to surface insights that shape marketing and product decisions

Step 5: Final Interview with Cofounders

Culture-fit and vision alignment conversation. Meet with Natalie, Connor, or Nick.
