Summary

We're looking for one or more highly skilled, analytical SEO Strategists to join us on a contract basis and add capacity to our SEO strategy work. You'll partner closely with our existing SEO team to develop and execute strategies that grow organic search visibility, drive traffic, and convert leads into customers for our B2B SaaS clients.

This is a deliverable-focused engagement. We're looking for someone who can own discrete strategy pieces and produce sharp, actionable work without heavy oversight. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to make sure every part of our clients' digital marketing is optimized for both traditional search and AI search.

Engagement details:

Type: Independent contractor, paid hourly

Hours: 20 to 30 hours per week

Location: 100% remote

Environment: Results-only work environment with flexible hours

Start: As soon as possible

What you'll work on:

- You'll take on individual strategy work pieces and deliverables, including:

- Comprehensive SEO audits

- Commercial page optimization recommendations

- Deep technical SEO dives

- Content strategy and content consulting

- General SEO + GEO/AEO consulting and strategic guidance

- Analytics consulting and performance analysis for both SEO & GEO/AEO

- Beyond specific deliverables, you'll:

- Develop, execute, and monitor SEO strategies that align with each client's business goals and target audience.

- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audits to surface optimization opportunities.

- Partner with the content team to make sure content is search-friendly and on strategy.

- Recommend on-page and off-page tactics, including link-building approaches, to improve visibility and rankings.

- Use analytics tools to track, analyze, and report on performance, then adjust strategies as needed.

- Stay current on search engine algorithms, AI search developments, and industry best practices.

- Provide strategic recommendations across SEO, content, and PPC to strengthen overall results.

What we're looking for:

- 5 to 7+ years of SEO experience, specifically within the SaaS industry or a digital marketing agency.

- A track record of SEO strategy work for SaaS businesses, ideally with measurable results you can point to. Experience with AI companies is a strong plus.

- Deep, current understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking strategies, and SEO best practices.

- A clear grasp of how AI search is changing the game, including the nuances of GEO (generative engine optimization) and AEO (answer engine optimization), and how they differ from traditional SEO.

- Fluency with SEO production tools (for example Google Analytics, Trakkr, Ahrefs) and website analytics.

- Proficiency with Claude and other AI tools, and a real sense of how to put them to work in SEO strategy, production, and analysis.

- Experience with content management systems like Webflow, WordPress, and HubSpot, plus the front-end web knowledge that SEO work requires.

- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and the ability to work effectively in a remote, contract setting.

- A proactive, results-oriented mindset focused on measurable success.
