Dearest folks of LinkedIn - I'm still looking for an Expert B2B Cold Email Copywriter to replace me in one of my contracts.
After some discussions with my client, here's a more specific sense of what we're looking for.
We need someone that's a master of writing B2B cold outreach, with at least 1 year of dedicated experience in this exact field (not just email writing in general).
What we do is completely different from the average "marketing email" - I'm talking personal, subtle, SHORT emails that are the sort of thing you would get from someone you know.
The goal in all our emails is to start a conversation, never a direct sale.
Ideally, the person we're looking for lives and breathes this stuff - things like Alex Hormozi 's $100M Offers (there's also a great cold email module in his free Leads course), or the work of Alex Berman on youtube and similar content creators.
(If you know who these guys are, you're already gonna be writing emails better than 99% of people.)
If this is you - and I know we're looking for a unicorn here but they do exist (I'm one, after all) - then please reach out with examples of your work. We will want to see examples of your email writing in at least 3 different B2B verticals (industries).
Here are some examples of my own writing, for reference. They might not look like much - they're deceptively simple - but these three emails have led to over $50M in business for my clients.
Let's pay attention to a second for what these emails are NOT:
- Typical "marketing emails", aka "spam"
- Focused on our amazing company and what we would love to do for you, thank you for asking (you didn't)
- I deserve your time even though you have no idea who I am (and don't care either)
- Trying to "inform" anybody (does anyone else find this pretext offensive or is it just me?). It's our responsibility as marketers to inform ourselves on what they need and will respond to
- So long that nobody's going to read it
....nope.
