AI Marketing Intern

11 months in. I'm finally hiring. (Yes, really.)

I never thought I'd type those words this soon.

When I started Wonderland AI, I had no team, no roadmap and probably too much confidence.

11 months later:
The business is doing alright. (Not making mills but its ok)
The clients are real and happy
The growth is there, but I need this next step to grow more.

The personal brand has gone from zero
To someone in a meeting saying "you're That LinkedIn Guy."
(Still processing that one. Not sure if I like it or not)
Better to be called "That LinkedIn Guy" that invisible right?

But I've hit the wall every solo founder hits.

The one where you realise you cannot do everything alone and do it well.

So I'm looking for an AI Marketing Intern to join me.

What this role actually involves:

Working directly with me to grow Wonderland AI
And a personal brand that's getting there but needs an extra push

Hands-on with AI tools.
Not just prompting ChatGPT and hoping for the best.
Real content strategy and real campaigns.

The part that will suck for now:

The role is currently unpaid (for now).
Its just a couple of hours per week.

But the business is scaling, and turning this into a part time/full time paid role for the right person is the plan, not just the hope.

Those entering the job market know its bleak
Those entry graduate jobs are not there.
This is a great opportunity to work in the future of tech

Yes I know its unpaid for now
But it wont be for long
And its only a couple of hours
That can be done along side another role that pays

You must be based in Worcestershire, Gloucestershire or Herefordshire.

THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL ROLE - UNPAID (INITIALLY)

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site/remote AI Marketing Intern role based in Great Malvern. The intern will support the marketing efforts in conducting market research, developing marketing strategies, assisting in customer acquisition efforts, content management / creation support.

Day-to-day tasks include creating marketing materials, analysing market trends, and collaborating closely with me to implement innovative marketing campaigns tailored to the AI industry.

This is an unpaid internship, offering an opportunity to gain valuable experience in AI-focused marketing. I am scaling the business and may be able to offer part-time paid work if business continues to scale.

Hours won't be crazy, just a couple per week as I don't want to take all of your time and while not paying you.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and customer engagement.
• Experience or interest in Generative AI - specifically within Marketing.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to new challenges.
• Enthusiasm for learning about AI technologies and the evolving marketing landscape.
• Experience using social media (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn)

You don't need to be polished or have 30 years of experience - this isn't a paid gig but could lead part-time paid work for the right candidate and who knows, if I really scale, there could be a full time role, but lets not get ahead of ourselves. If you want to start using AI, you love marketing and socials and don't feel awkward helping a 35 year old business owner film bland AI videos for LinkedIn, then this is the job for you.
