We're looking for someone who can look at 100 AI stories and know which 3 actually matter.
Someone who can turn something technical into: “Wait. I need to read this.”
What you'll do:
- Research and select high-signal AI stories
- Own the newsletter and move beyond traditional “writing”
- Turn complex AI into clear, compelling stories
- Experiment relentlessly with hooks, formats and angles
- Use performance data to understand what actually resonates

About the role:
We're looking for a Content Writer who knows how to turn complex AI topics into content people actually want to read, share, and talk about.
The primary focus of this role is our GenAI.Works newsletter. You'll write and ship editions that make fast-moving, complex AI topics feel clear, relevant, urgent, and unmissable. Every edition should give readers a reason to open the next one.
Beyond the newsletter, you'll help us create content for LinkedIn and our website. You'll pitch ideas, experiment with formats, and use performance data to understand what resonates with our audience and what we should do more of.
Responsibilities:
- Writing AI newsletters that people want to forward to their group chats
- Creating LinkedIn posts and carousels that drive real engagement
- Pitching and developing new content ideas and formats
- Writing website copy and long-form editorial content when needed
- Working with designers to bring content ideas to life
- Using performance data to understand what content resonates with our audience
- Translating complex AI topics into clear, compelling, and accessible content
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in content creation, journalism, copywriting, or social media
- Strong writing samples that demonstrate range, clarity, and the ability to engage an audience
- Genuine interest in AI and technology, beyond surface-level trends
- Experience creating content across at least two platforms, such as newsletters, social media, or editorial
- Hands-on familiarity with AI tools and generative AI
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote team across different time zones
Nice to have:
- Experience creating content specifically for LinkedIn and understanding what performs well on the platform is a big plus
- Have built, managed, or grown a newsletter
- Have a personal brand or content presence of your own
- Understand what makes AI content land differently from generic tech content
- Have worked with enterprise or deep-tech brands
- Data Science or another technical background
