Operations Administrator (Part-Time / Contract)
Location: Remote (US-based preferred)
Time Commitment: 10–20 hours per month

Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented administrator to help manage compliance, payroll coordination, and basic bookkeeping for a fully remote, multi-state team.

This role works directly with the founders and external providers to ensure filings, records, and administrative workflows remain accurate and on time.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate state and federal filings with payroll and accounting providers (e.g., payroll taxes, workers’ compensation, annual reports)
• Help resolve issues with payroll and compliance platforms
• Track expenses and collect receipts from employees and contractors
• Monitor company mail and regulatory notices
• Support new hire onboarding (payroll setup, tax forms, state requirements)
• Assist team members with W-2, 1099, and payrol-related questions
• Help plan and coordinate quarterly team offsites

Qualifications
• Experience with small business or startup administration and compliance
• Familiarity with multi-state payroll and basic bookkeeping
• Strong organizational and folow-up skills
• Comfortable working with founders, accountants, and government portals
