About the role:

We’re looking for an Account Strategist with 3+ years of experience building and leading B2B content and SEO programs to help us manage client accounts and lead their success.

This is a client-facing role, where you’ll take direct ownership of accounts to ensure clients are delighted with the white-glove experience they’ve come to expect from Grizzle. You’ll be managing editorial plans and projects, and offering strategic advice for our roster of enterprise and scaleup clients.

This is an opportunity for both FTEs and contractors.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing client relationships: You’ll be the first point of contact for client relationships, communicating proactively and effectively. This may include in-person travel when the opportunity arises.
  • Content and SEO strategy and advisory: Working with clients to enhance and augment their existing content programs. This often means advising on what they should be doing or alternative approaches.
  • Partnering with editors across content projects: You’ll be collaborating with your lead editor counterparts to ensure client content aligns with their tone of voice, is polished to perfection, and is performance-driven for the channels it’s produced for.
  • Leading a team of in-house specialists: You’ll work with and manage a team of content marketing, SEO, product marketing, and video specialists to bring client content programs to life.
  • Managing a roster of content writers and creators: Evaluate, select, and assign the best writers, copy editors, and video talent across clients. You’ll work directly with our Head of Content to fulfil resourcing requirements.

About you

  • You have 3+ years of experience leading content and SEO programs within SaaS organizations or a B2B context.
  • You have strong interpersonal, communication skills, and attention to detail. You’re able to handle different personality types across multiple accounts and love working hands-on with clients.
  • Although this isn’t a writing role, you do have strong content writing and editing chops and understand that quality content means refining the finer details.
  • You’re able to manage and juggle multiple projects and multiple people at once, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You’re data-driven in your decision making, and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves an explore the nuances behind the metrics to offer clients practical solutions to problems.
  • You’re systems-driven, and always looking for ways to improve processes to make them more effective and efficient.
  • You have an optimistic outlook towards your work. You’re friendly, and are always open to constructive feedback on your work—from clients and peers alike.
