This is a freelance/contract writing role focused entirely on the 2026 World Cup. The role is expected to run from late May through the end of the World Cup, with potential opportunities for additional work after the tournament depending on performance and needs.

You must have published work about soccer in the the DFS/sports predictions space to be considered for this role.

We’re creating content that helps fans form their takes and make their picks — and regularly ranks high in Google Top Stories, so your work can be seen by millions.

Who are we looking for?You know soccer through and through, understand the World Cup landscape, and have experience writing SEO-forward soccer content. Experience covering the World Cup, international soccer, Champions League, or major global tournaments is a major plus.

You should have a flexible schedule and be ready to cover World Cup matches, lineup news, tournament storylines, and breaking news on the fly. Applicants with experience writing in the fantasy sports, DFS, or sports predictions space — especially for soccer — will move to the top of the list.

Note: You must submit recent samples of published soccer clips below to qualify for this position. Samples related to World Cup, international soccer, DFS, fantasy sports, or sports predictions are strongly preferred.
What is the compensation?This is a freelance writing position paid on a per-article basis. Writers are compensated based on article type and length via invoices submitted on a biweekly or monthly basis, with all assignments tracked through an internal spreadsheet for transparency.
