Technical Writing

Clerk is looking for a part-time or freelance technical writer/content engineer to write about authentication and user management in Next.js, React, or React Native on a regular basis for the Clerk blog. If that sounds like you, or you know someone who might be a good fit, please get in touch!

Our goal is to put Clerk in the toolkit of every developer, even before they have a need. We do this by creating genuinely helpful educational content that also inspires.

To help us reach this goal, we're searching for…

- A content creator who actively codes using the technology they're writing about. Because you code, you naturally stumble upon interesting content opportunities. You follow them through from ideation to publication.
- An experienced teacher. You have a track record of distilling complicated topics into something clear, concise, and accessible.
- A contributor who values polish. At Clerk, attention to detail is fundamental to our ethos. Because of this, we're looking for someone who holds themselves to the highest quality standards and is eager to push the quality bar. You will be a good fit if you relish the idea of writing for the best authentication and user management blog in tech.

We're on the lookout for an independent contractor or perhaps someone part-time who’s ready to dive into Clerk, learn the ins and outs of our product, and build a great relationship with our content team. We're quite flexible at the moment, so if it's a good fit, we can definitely work something out.

If you're interested, don't hesitate to get in touch! You can message me privately or (click "Apply" to) email.
